Background[]

Haady is a substyle that was inspired by British, American, and Hip-Hop fashion. The name comes from the Japanese word "派手 (Hade)", meaning "Flashy" or "In your face."

Outfits[]

The style has bright and pastel colors, usually combined with cheetah print or another pattern such as stripes. Other common patterns are stars, polka dots, tartans, and skulls. Clothing can be tight or loose. Tall socks seem to also be a key accessory.

Hair typically isn't as curly as other substyles. Usually, the hair is dyed blonde or another light color, including unnatural colors. Bangs are also typically part of this style; hair extensions, too.

Magazines[]

The main magazine for this style was Egg, and Egg is a very big part of this style considering a model at Egg (Kaoru Watanabe) invented the look. However, Egg holds other substyles besides this one.

Other Info[]

JSG and Galaxxxy are the most popular Haady Gyaru brands. Listen Flavor can also be used in this style.
